摘要: The wide range of studies describing the role bank erosion in fluvial sediment supply have mostly lumped amounts into coarse temporal units, such as years. This paper investigates yields from individual events within upper River Severn, UK (basin area 380 km2). Manual pins and photo-electronic were used to estimate erosion, turbidity meters determine suspended transport. At annual time-scale, silt-clay fraction bank-derived accounted for an equivalent 17 per cent load, increasing average 38 at monthly timescale, then 64 event timescale. research highlighted that upland catchment, was important sediment, some flood can more than is transported. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
