摘要: Abstract Stoichiometric and sub-stoichiometric lanthanum barium titanates (LBT) of perovskite structure type, substituted or not with Mn and/or Ce at the Ti-site, were prepared by sol–gel route heat treatment in air. All compounds display a cubic Pm-3m symmetry, which remains stable reducing atmosphere. Whereas substitution highly promotes reducibility material, electrical electrochemical performance Mn-doped is decreased respect to non-doped LBT. In contrast, conductivity resistance polarization Ce-substituted LBT are close those appears especially efficient improving catalytic properties for methane steam reforming avoiding carbon formation.
