摘要: Object To compare ultrasound, computed tomography and peritoneoscopy in the diagnosis of primary metastatic hepatic tumors. Design Prospective trial a cohort patients during year. Place Digestive Disease Department National referral Cancer Center. Patients Forty five with intraabdominal tumors for pretreatment evaluation. Intervention; Ultrasonography, performed period ten days. Measurements sensibility, specificity efficiency comparison results by Chi square test, Yates correction (X2 Yates), measure pre test post probabilities using Bayes theorem. Results In humors, was most sensitive, similar three procedures (p greater than 0.1), detection metastases sensitive 91.6% vs 50% less 0.05) high positive predictive value procedures, comparable probabilities. Conclusions focal lesions, best method; case doubt, failure non invasive or need biopsy samples must be considered procedure choice.
