摘要: The Khan-Taishir ophiolitic complex is situated within Early Caledonian structures of Western Mongolia. It consists (from below upward) strongly differentiated ultramafics (dunites and harzburgites), pyroxenites gabbro, sheeted dikes, pillow lavas sediments, including in their uppermost part archaeocyatic limestones Lower Cambrian age. Geological, petrochemical geochemical data indicate that the are turn off from overlying sequence. Igneous rocks complex, except ultramafics, were formed by two-stage differentiation mantle magma quartz-tholeiitic composition exhausted potassium titanium. Pyroxenites gabbro with an anorthositic trend generated during first stage, dikes a quartz second one. Ophiolites petrochemically geochemically differ mafic ultramafic midoceanic ridges. Together ophiolites Troodos (Cyprus) Macquarie Island (eastern Indian Ocean) they constitute special type ophiolite peculiar rather to slip boundaries lithosphere plates. other ophiolite, complexes like Dzolen south Mongolia, contains poorly does not contain dikes; while igneous very similar dredged probably ridge environments as well.
