Bounds and self-consistent estimates for the overall properties of anisotropic composites

摘要: Abstract B ounds of Hashin-Shtrikman type and self-consistent estimates for the overall properties composites, which may be anisotropic, are developed. Bodies containing aligned ellipsoidal inclusions considered particularly, generalizing previously known results. The thermal conductivity a body spheroidal is discussed as an example including, limiting cases, bodies highly-conducting needles pennyshaped cracks.
