A comprehensive analysis of three Asiatic black bear mitochondrial genomes (subspecies ussuricus, formosanus and mupinensis), with emphasis on the complete mtDNA sequence of Ursus thibetanus ussuricus (Ursidae)

摘要: In the present paper, we describe mitochondrial genome sequence of Asiatic black bear (Ursus thibetanus ussuricus) with particular emphasis on control region (CR), and compared genomes molecular relationships among bears. The U. ussuricus was 16,700 bp in size mostly conserved structures (e.g. 13 protein-coding, two rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes). CR consisted several typical domains such as F, E, D, C boxes, a block. Nucleotide sequences repeated motifs were different species, their copy numbers also variable according to populations, even within F1 generations ussuricus.
