摘要: The development of a functional lung, capable gas exchange, requires proper alveologenesis. Mechanisms regulating AT1 and AT2 cell maturation are poorly defined. We report the activation glucocorticoid pathway in an vitro alveolar epithelial lineage differentiation assay led to increased marker Sftpc decreased miR-142 expression. Using constitutive KO mouse model, we further demonstrate relative increase decrease number with global gene profile signature cells. Over-expression progenitor cells vivo opposite effect. Examination lungs at E18.5, revealed enhanced expression targets like Apc, Ep300 Kras associated Ctnnb1 p-Erk signaling. Pharmacological inhibition Ep300-Ctnnb1 prevented triggered by loss miR-142. These results together suggest glucocorticoid-miR-142-p300 signaling axis controls pneumocyte
