摘要: A panel design for a hot-fillable plastic container having tall and slender section. The configuration provides increased resistance to longitudinal bending hoop failure, yet good flexibility maximize vacuum movement. section (136) has substantially cylindrical circumference with plurality of panels (140) symmetrically disposed about the circumference, post walls (162) between panels, land areas (138, 142) above below panels. ratio height D diameter C is on order 0.85 1.05. Longitudinal ribs (164) are provided in walls. E greater than 0.45 inch, area 0.1. Circumferential (137, 134) prevent ovalization collapse.
