摘要: Abstract We report the instrumentation of a μ-GC system that was capable performing real-time analysis sub-ppb-levels organic mixture vapors. This consists multi-stage preconcentrator/injector, capillary column with at-column heater configuration and photo ionization detector (PID). A tablet computer embedded inside instrument case to form stand-alone can provide both control chromatogram data handling without an external computer. Through compact design fluidic system, this fully functional GC measured 30 (l) × 17(w) × 8(h) cm weight less than 3 kg. could be powered by either 12 V DC adapter or batteries. Mixtures 10 compounds were tested demonstrate performance system. Separation took only 2 min due rapid temperature programming ability heater. The detection limit ranged from 0.02 0.36 ppb achieved 1.0 L sample volume. analytical cycle including sampling, separation cooling required 15 min. stability evaluated analyzing VOCs at ~ 3 ppb vapor concentration through continuous operation over 24 h. retention time varied 1.2% (RSD, n = 120). variation in peak areas 2.2% (benzene) 5.2% (m-xylene).
