摘要: Abstract We report results of the HELIOS Collaboration on low-mass dilepton and soft photon production in 450 GeV/ c proton-beryllium interactions preliminary sulphur tungsten collisions. Both electron muon pairs were measured a double spectrometer with similar kinematic acceptance for both parts. The observed yield is found to be good agreement expected cumulative lepton pair by meson decays. Based simultaneous direct measurements η, via Dalitz decay channel, which represents main component background, remaining systematic errors this experiment are as small 20–30%. With specially modified experimental set-up HELIOS-3 collaboration 200 proton-tungsten sulfur-tungsten show first results. For analysis mesonic contributions evaluated using cross-section parametrization leading larger errors. No significant additional source detected within framework analysis. Soft ( p T ≤ 50 MeV/ ) was two special independent set-ups proton beryllium rates spectra well reproduced hadronic bremsstrahlung calculations.
