REACT: real-time contact tracing and risk monitoring using privacy-enhanced mobile tracking

摘要: Contact tracing is an essential public health tool for controlling epidemic disease outbreaks such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Digital contact using real-time locations or proximity of individuals can be used to significantly speed up and scale tracing. In this article, we present our project, REACT, REAal-time Tracing risk monitoring via privacy-enhanced tracking users' symptoms. With privacy enhancement that allows users control refine precision with which their information will collected used, REACT enable: 1) who are exposed infected cases identification hot-spot locations, 2) individual based on they visit others; 3) community detection early signals spread. We briefly describe ongoing work approaches taking well some challenges encountered in deploying app.
