摘要: Methodologies are described that facilitate inter-eNode B handover. In various embodiments, logical protocol termination can be implemented between the user equipment and target eNode for handover signaling. The provided forwarding encapsulation mechanisms enable improved inter-operability Bs implementing different versions or from vendors, which in turn enables frequent upgrades. Additionally, invention to implement new radio configurations even if configuration is unsupported by source B.
