摘要: Purpose: In this work was presented the cooling rate influence on microstructure of Zn-Al cast alloy. This research presents also investigation results derivative thermoanalysis performed using UMSA device. The material used for ZnAl4Cu1 Design/methodology/approach: Moreover analysis curve changes as a result measured crystallisation kinetic changes. For assessment mechanical properties hardness measurements were Rockwell Findings: treated sample is without holes, cracks and defects well has slightly higher value compared to as-cast material. Research limitations/implications: examined metallographically analyzed qualitatively light scanning electron microscope area mapping point-wise EDS microanalysis. are discussed reason an possible improvement thermal structural Practical implications: investigated can find its use in foundry industry; component quality depends mainly better control over production parameters. Originality/value: provides understanding characteristics processes occurred new developed achieved be liquid metal processing science industry obtaining required alloy influenced by proper conditions.
