摘要: ABSTRACTFatigue is a major contributor to transportation accidents. Shift workers are particularly prone fatigue, and organizations increasingly rely on fatigue risk models evaluate work schedules. In this article, the authors empirically examine relationship between human errors in railway traffic control. Despite their safety-critical role, research controller has remained limited. The predictive validity of commonly used tool (the Risk Index) investigate effect additional factors (age, gender, part-time work, day week). close cooperation with Belgian railways, analyze unique full-year data set, containing more than 11,000 shifts.
