摘要: This paper discusses the evolution towards first integrated radio-frequency identification (RFID)-enabled wireless sensor network infrastructure using ultra-high frequency/radio frequency (UHF/RF) RFID-enabled nodes and inkjet-printed electronics technologies on flexible substrates for time ever. The sections highlight unique capabilities of inkjet printed as well benefits ultra-low-cost, conformal environmentally friendly substrate mass-scale ubiquitous implementation sensing applications. Various antenna configurations are presented enhanced-range compact platforms in “rugged” environments up to 7 GHz, followed by discussion their 2-D integration with circuit (IC) sensors paper. is extended a power-scavenging “smart-shoe” batteryless RFID module that could be used autonomous wearable applications enhanced range. concludes discussing details establishing an asynchronous link between aforementioned RFID-tags widely commercial (WSN) mote simplified protocol; paramount step potentially create ultra-low-cost networks large-scale implementations eliminating need expensive reader linking RFIDs mature level WSNs.
