摘要: Abstract The foreland fold-and-thrust belt of northern Pakistan is located at the western end Himalayan arc, where salt tectonics responsible for structural styles, hydrocarbon source areas and seismicity. Three sub-regions are Potwar Plateau–Salt Range, Kohat Plateau–Surghar Range Bannu Basin–Khisor Range. difference in deformation intensity between these regions mainly attributed to presence, or absence, an Infra-Cambrian layer. This study investigates active Plateau Salt region, emphasizing role salt, using Small Baseline Subset Interferometry (SBAS) technique 2-D seismic interpretations. Ten PALSAR images four profiles from region were used. SBAS results, derived spanning 2007 2010, suggest that with portion experiencing uplift average rate around 10 mm/year. Two anomalies observed, which interpreted as zones transpression diapirism. Time-migrated show layer acts a detachment. Our results has different roles belt; detachment, while flow-induced structures prominent. integration 2D interpretation reveals influenced by two main faults, dextral Kalabagh fault Main Frontal Thrust. Finally, this work was compared Kuqa China due their similarities.
