摘要: Aims To determine the effects of Lactobacillus fermentum I5007 on redox state piglets oxidatively stressed with diquat. Methods and Results Twenty-four, 28-day-old barrows were used in a 2 × 2 factorial design experiment main being Lact. fermentum supplementation diquat challenge. Half pigs (n = 12) orally administered 20 ml solution containing 108 CFU ml−1 each morning 21-day trial, while remainder received saline. On day 8, these two groups further subdivided so that half group (n = 6) intraperitoneally injected 10 mg kg−1 BW diquat, The diquat-injected had significantly poorer performance increased levels plasma cortisol, adrenaline, carbonyl malondialdehyde. superoxide dismutase glutathione ability to inhibit anion production liver muscle. Conclusions Lactobacillus improved anti-oxidative defence system alleviated damage caused by diquat. Significance Impact Study Lactobacillus has potential alleviate oxidative stress improve weaning pig performance.
