摘要: Experimental data on thermal conductivity of packed beds composed from various refractory particles (corundum, silica, magnesia, baddeleyite, yttrium oxide, spinel) obtained in the temperature range 400-2000 K gases are presented. It is found that a bed crushed may change after first and subsequent heatings. This occurs as result smoothing particle surfaces decreasing contact heat barrier resistances between granules. The influence most significant for with sizes below 2 mm. In polydisperse beds, containing micrometer-size particles, sintering processes were to occur at temperatures above 1600 K. led sharp increase conductivity. regimes where did not take place, size resulted decrease effective attributed increased number contacts scattering radiation.
