摘要: This study aims to investigate the effects of wind farms on local meteorology and farm array efficiency. Examining turbines will assist in site selection determining optimum efficiency for maximum power performance. The first step this process was use Blade Element Momentum (BEM) theory model flow around stall-regulated turbines. then validated with data from LM Glasfiber, a turbine blade manufacturer. There very good agreement at low medium speeds (5-13 m/s) between curve generated by provided Glasfiber. did not match as well high speeds. however improved greatly when curves were weighted Rayleigh distribution function that is typical site. normalized gross error about 0.5%. Since are typically mostly 7-13 m/s speed range, developed aerodynamic sufficient purpose characterizing forces blades atmosphere.
