Medical application of Artificial Immune Recognition System (AIRS): Diagnosis of atherosclerosis from carotid artery Doppler signals

摘要: This study was conducted to distinguish between atherosclerosis and healthy subjects. Hence, we have employed the maximum envelope of carotid artery Doppler sonograms derived from Fast Fourier Transformation-Welch method Artificial Immune Recognition System (AIRS). The fuzzy appearance signals makes physicians suspicious about existence diseases sometimes causes false diagnosis. Our technique gets around this problem using AIRS decide assist physician make final judgment in confidence. has reached 99.29% classification accuracy 10-fold cross validation. Results show that proposed classified successfully.
