Urbanism in the anthropocene: Ecological urbanism or premium ecological enclaves?

摘要: Earth scientists now argue that the current geological era should be re‐named anthropocene to better reflect impact of humans in reshaping planetary ecology. Urbanism encompasses social, economic and political processes most closely linked rapid transformation habitats, destruction ecologies, over use materials resources, production pollutants carbon emissions threaten terracide. Consequently, key concern for 21st‐century global urbanism is critically understand wider societal material implications strategic responses pressures climate change, resource constraint their interrelationships with crisis.
