摘要: AbstractA small cryptic plasmid designated pHW15 was isolated from Rahnella genomospecies 2 WMR15 and its completenucleotide sequence determined. The contained 3002 bp with a G + C content of 47.4%. origin repli-cation identified by deletion analysis as region about 600 bp. This had an identity 70% to the replicationorigin ColE1 at nucleotide level. Sequence revealed typical elements: RNA I, II andtheir corresponding promoters, allowing hybridisation DNA favouring processing byRNaseH, single-strand initiation determinant (ssi) that allows lagging-strand synthesis, terH sequencerequired for termination synthesis. three expressed open reading frames, one ofwhich showed homology plasmid-encoded protein. Furthermore, multimer resolution site bysequence analysis. Its resulted in formation multimers during growth leading increased plasmidloss rate. 2006 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
