摘要: Objective: We aimed to determine whether there was a relationship between lifestyle factors and Alzheimer disease biomarkers. Methods: In cross-sectional study, we evaluated self-reported histories of recent past cognitive activity, history physical objective walking activity in 186 clinically normal individuals with mean age 74 ± 6 years. Using backward elimination general linear models, tested the hypotheses that greater or would be associated lower Pittsburgh compound B–PET retention, 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose–PET metabolism, larger hippocampal volume, as well better performance on neuropsychological testing. Results: Linear regression demonstrated correlated estimated IQ education, testing performance. Self-reported related exercise monitoring. However, contrary hypotheses, did not find evidence an association B F-fluorodeoxyglucose uptake, volume current levels activity. Conclusions: conclude lifelong may support by mechanism is independent brain β-amyloid burden, glucose volume.
