摘要: The discovery of the soybean aphid, Aphis glycines Matsumura, in U.S. production systems 2000 has provided a unique opportunity to study interaction new invader with existing natural enemy communities. One research thrust been examining role predators aphid dynamics Midwest. We discuss roles predatory arthropods field crops and set forth conceptual model that we have followed identify key system. Orius insidiosus (Say) Harmonia axyridis (Pallas) as potentially show our findings on their phenology fields impact population dynamics. Finally, how this information can be used integrated pest management programs for point gaps knowledge where future studies are needed.
