摘要: Uncoupling proteins (UCPs) are mitochondrial membrane transporters involved in the control of energy conversion mitochondria. Experimental and genetic evidence relate dysfunctions UCPs with metabolic syndrome obesity. The PPAR subtypes mediate to a large extent transcriptional regulation UCP genes, distinct relevance depending on gene tissue which it is expressed. UCP1 under dual PPARγ PPARα relation brown adipocyte differentiation lipid oxidation, respectively. UCP3 regulated by PPARδ muscle, heart, adipose tissues.
