摘要: In this paper, the use of queueing theory for modeling uninterrupted traffic flows is evaluated. Empirical data on speeds and are used to evaluate generated by different models. Using Theil inequality coefficient as evaluation criterion, models compared empirical speeds. Queueing that best fit observed obtained. It appears flow a highway during non-congested hours described using M/G/1 model. During congested however, state dependent GI/G/z more realistic. Because describe well, they can also be potential improvements in existing conditions.
