摘要: Plasmid-mediated quinolone resistance (PMQR) is frequent among Escherichia coli from various food products and animals in several countries. The objective of this study was to characterize resistant E. (QREC) Norwegian turkey meat regarding profiles, genetic mechanisms for resistance, relatedness, investigate whether PMQR genes were present. In total, 78 QREC isolated by a selective method 156 samples throughout 2013. Isolates subjected susceptibility testing, characterization mechanisms, serotyping, phylotyping multi-locus variable-tandem repeat analysis (MLVA). All isolates ciprofloxacin, while 77 also nalidixic acid. acid sensitive isolate had profile indicating the presence gene.
