摘要: One-step production of pyruvic acid through selective oxidation glycerol was investigated using lead promoted platinum/activated carbon (Pb-Pt/AC) catalysts under mild conditions. The results N2 physisorption, X-ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy, and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy revealed that the alloy phases PtPb PtxPb were favorable for from oxidation, whereas Pb3(CO3)2(OH)2 surface Pb0 species inhibited conversion. loading Pb catalyst preparation method (including impregnation deposition precipitation) affected formation different metal species. Pyruvic obtained at a yield 18.4% on 5.0 wt% Pb-5.0 Pt/AC prepared by co-deposition precipitation 500 °C argon treatment.
