摘要: We are studying both Na:Ca exchange stoichiometry and cytosolic [Cal ([Ca] i )-dependent regulation of Na-Ca (NCX) in intact rabbit ventricular myocytes. Analysis NCX fluxes subcellular systems strongly supports a dominant 3Na:lCa exchange, our measurements cells confirm this. However, native cells, local ion gradients other factors complicate the process inferring stoichiometry. From functional viewpoint, is near 3:1 but affected by accumulation/depletion as well non-NCX fluxes. others have viewed [Ca] -dependent static (dependent on instantaneous ). evidence from expression shows to be dynamic, observations this case cardiac well.
