摘要: Abstract Aluminium hydrolysis is a promising method for hydrogen generation due to its instant production, simplicity, controllability, and safety properties. Moreover, Al very common, recyclable, lightweight material it has no degradation problem supply in energy conversion devices. Hydrogen produced by can be easily adapted fuel cells convert into higher efficiency. In this study, the effect of low B additions (0.1, 0.3, 0.5 wt.%) Al-2wt.%Zn alloy's performance investigated. Different temperatures (25, 50, 80 °C) different concentrations NaOH (1, 3, 5 M) are studied observe their effects on production corrosion rate. At 80 °C 5 M concentration, Al-2wt.%Zn-0.5wt.%B alloy, around 83% obtained than Al-2wt.% Zn alloy. The reaction kinetics investigated with Arrhenius equation addition, activation Al-2wt.%Zn-0.5 wt.%B alloys decreased from 26.717 kJ mol−1 23.526 kJ mol−1.
