Diffusion and surface alloying of gradient nanostructured metals.

摘要: Gradient nanostructures (GNSs) have been optimized in recent years for desired performance. The diffusion behavior GNS metals is crucial understanding the mechanism and relative characteristics of different interfaces that provide fundamental advancing traditional surface alloying processes. In this paper, atomic diffusion, reactive processes are reviewed various with a preformed layer. We emphasize promoted layer related to higher interfacial energy state respect those relaxed coarse-grained samples. Accordingly, processes, such as nitriding chromizing, modified significantly, some diffusion-related properties enhanced. Finally, perspectives on current research field discussed.
