摘要: It has been well known that smoking alters the property and functionality of a wide range immune cells including dendritic (DCs). However, great deal effort in past mainly devoted to dissect effect on pulmonary DCs, while its exact impact circulating DCs remains be fully addressed. Therefore, present report we particularly examined number subset peripheral blood by multi-parametric flow cytometry analysis. A significant increase for mononuclear (PBMCs) was noted subjects. Subsequent studies revealed percentage plasmacytoid (pDCs) total PBMCs significantly higher subjects as compared with control subjects, myeloid (mDCs) did not differ between two groups. also found absolute mDCs pDCs were than subject. mDC/pDC ratio reduced, suggesting impairs balance DC subsets. Given are favor tolerogenic function, our data support could induce production manifest immunosuppressive properties chronic smokers.
