摘要: Although many studies have discussed the benefits of Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) systems, their configuration can a great impact on clinicians' adoption these systems. Poorly designed CPOE systems lead to usability problems, users' dissatisfaction and may disrupt normal flow clinical activities. This paper reports literature review focused identification medication systems' design aspects that create opportunities for errors. Our is based systematic search in PubMed, EMBASE Ovid MEDLINE relevant publications from 1986-2006. We categorized extracted into six different groups: 1) timing alerts, 2) log in/out procedures, 3) pick lists drop down menus, 4) clues guidelines, 5) documentation data entry options, 6) screen display layout. shows manner which system configured high ease use, task behavior clinicians ordering drugs, Characterization consequences associated with certain provides insight how designs be improved enhance physicians' success. Recommendations are provided enable designers not only more user friendly efficient but safer.
