摘要: TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway plays an important role in EMT during cancer progression. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are involved various behaviors of cells, including EMT. Here, we report a novel lncRNA adjacent to Smad3, named Smad3-associated long RNA (SMASR). SMASR is downregulated by TGF-β via Smad2/3 lung cells. Knockdown induces and increases the migration invasion Moreover, knockdown promotes phosphorylation Smad2/3. Mechanistically, interacts with inhibits expression TGFBR1, type I receptor responsible for Smad2/3, thus leading inactivation pathway. Clinically, tissues. Collectively, our findings prove critical forming negative feedback loop
