摘要: Hortonian runoff was measured from plots with lengths of 1?25 and 12 m, at watershed level for rainstorms during the 1996 rainy season in cental Cote d'Ivoire, Africa. A clear reduction coefficients found increasing slope lengths, giving order magnitude differences between measurements point (1 m2: 30-50␘f total rain) (130 ha: 4␘f rain). Runoff m slopes reproduced each major runoff-producing rainstorm two different sets plots, but erratic rainfall events which produced little runoff. In addition, varied wildly one to next. analysis, we show that spatial variability parameters causes behaviour During more important, larger events, give 78␘f runoff, temporal dynamics rainfall-runoff process determine longer slopes. simple infiltration/runoff model used simulate field results, thereby confirming importance as an explanatory factor
