摘要: Abstract Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) that are applied in the planning phases of large land-use and construction projects aimed at aiding decision-making mitigating significant environmental impacts. In light global biodiversity crisis, conducting high-quality impact assessments is important, as information, among other factors, has potential to influence how will be implemented end. We investigated bird surveys conducted number species conservation concern peat extraction wind farm which an EIA was 1995–2016 Finland compared whether these factors differed between project types unimplemented projects. also studied availability follow-up monitoring data impacts within two types. The nationally threatened breeding birds significantly lower than overall probability being negatively associated with year began for both All permitted 22% post-construction monitoring; however, only some enabled before-after comparisons. Our results line earlier findings demonstrate difficulty showing direct information on what extent it related approval or rejection. role development could strengthened.
