摘要: We have computed the dispersion curves of plate-mode waves propagating in periodic composite structures composed isotropic aluminum cylinders embedded an nickel background. The phononic crystal has a square symmetry and calculation is based on plane-wave expansion method. Along GammaX or GammaM directions, shear-horizontal modes do not couple to Lamb wave which are polarized sagittal plane. Whatever direction propagation between GammaM, convert with flexural dilatational modes. This phenomenon demonstrated both through mode splitting lower-order symmetric band structure all three components particle displacements. case different from pure plate where decouple whatever propagation.
