摘要: Alzheimer's disease belongs to a group of pathologies called dementias, being this one the most common type. It is neurodegenerative that causes progressive and disabling impairment cognitive functions, including memory, comprehension, language, attention, reasoning judgment. Until now there no cure, although are treatments available can improve symptoms. In paper we describe disease, its classification prognosis, as well physio pathological mechanism different diagnostic techniques currently used. addition, perform an analysis therapies both pharmacological non-pharmacological, focusing on conventional drugs marketed so far, making comparison between them, those strategies or therapeutic targets researched, phases clinical trials which project perspectives towards future. For this, carry out bibliographic review updated scientific literature, analyzing relevant information about disease. Unfortunately, in last years have not been bibliography studies done. Finally, practical contribution complement conclude study, collect dispensing data several pharmacy offices, order approximate obtained through with used Spanish population. The found coincide daily practice at pharmacy: population gets older drug Donepezil.
