摘要: Abstract Two homogeneous galactomannans were isolated from the seeds of Cassia sericea and investigated by methylation analysis, periodate CrO 3 oxidation, 1 H- 13 C-n.m.r. spectroscopy, reaction with α- d -galactosidase. The polysaccharides had backbones (1→3)- occasional (1→4)-linked β- -mannopyranosyl residues side chains, at positions 6, single -galactopyranosyl groups.
