摘要: Abstract The bean shoot borer Epinotia aporema Wals. (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) and the velvet caterpillar Anticarsia gemmatalis Hubner Noctuidae) are key pests of soybean other legume crops in South America. They often found simultaneously certain regions. A. nucleopolyhedrovirus (AgMNPV) is widely used to control gemmatalis. More recently, E. granulovirus (EpapGV) has been characterized evaluated as a bioinsecticide for aporema. In order increase its potential use design optimized strategies management lepidopteran pests, we interaction between EpapGV AgMNPV on third instar larvae. Larvae fed with 50 AgMNPV OBs/larva showed an mortality rates (from 42% 81%) decrease median survival time 7.7 days 5.7 days) when these OBs were mixed 6000 EpapGV OBs/larva. When 300 AgMNPV OBs/larva alone or combination no changes biological parameters observed. No was detected larvae treated alone. viral mixtures, only DNA by PCR. peritrophic membranes (PMs) examined SDS–PAGE scanning electron microscopy signs damage. Notably, presence spheroidal bodies associated damaged areas PMs but not those that given These results show increases potency AgMNPV, thus insecticidal efficiency, suggesting formulations including both viruses might be valuable tool pest management.
