Flotation and adsorption of quartz with the new collector butane-3-heptyloxy-1,2-diamine

摘要: A new surfactant butane-3-heptyloxy-1,2-diamine [CH3(CH2)6OCH(CH3)CH(NH2)CH2NH2; BHLD] was synthesized. It has been innovatively used as a collector in the flotation of quartz. In this present study, behaviors quartz with BHLD were investigated by micro-flotation found that recovery reaches 98.9%. Furthermore, hydrogen bond lengths measured, calculated and simulated molecular dynamics (MD) model, interaction energy between four species surface determined under vacuum aqueous conditions. Based on results zeta potential measurements, FT-IR measurements MD simulation paper, it is revealed adsorbs onto through electrostatic adsorption adsorption. micro-flotations studied radial distribution function (RDF) relative concentrations. The show O atom H are main interactive forces causing to adsorb surface. cations significantly more strongly than molecules, which agrees well tests.
