摘要: Abstract The Sao Gabriel terrane is a segment of juvenile crust exposed in the western part Dom Feliciano Belt southern Mantiqueira Province, Brazil. In this study high spatial resolution U-Pb geochronological data for 171 detrital zircons Cambaizinho Complex are used to investigate tectonic evolution terrain. Eighty-one grains were later selected SIMS δ 18 O analyses. Ages ranged from 840 660 Ma, with strong concentration between ca. 750 and 700 Ma. age spectrum zircon meta-sedimentary succession suggests that original sediments derived erosion arc, most likely short-lived syn-orogentic basin. Th/U ratios internal structures reveal they mostly eroded arc magmatic rocks, without any relevant contribution their metamorphic counterparts, or other older source. values varied 3.2 9.6‰, indicating coeval crystallization both unaltered, pristine mantle magmas alongside altered magmas, strongly contaminated continental crustal generated oceanic setting. summary, our provides an insight into progressive intra-oceanic subduction zone at 879–750 Ma setting (ages
