摘要: Abstract. We present a geomorphological method to evaluate landslide hazard and risk. The is based on the recognition of existing past landslides, scrutiny local geological morphological setting, study site-specific historical information events. For each area multi-temporal inventory map has been prepared through interpretation various sets stereoscopic aerial photographs taken over period 1941–1999, field mapping carried out in years 2000 2001, critical review investigations completed solve instability problems. portrays distribution landslides their observed changes about 60 years. Changes pattern allow one infer possible evolution slopes, most probable type failures, expected frequency occurrence intensity. This used hazard, estimate associated methodology not straightforward requires experienced geomorphologists, trained analysis slope processes. Levels risk are expressed using an index that conveys, simple compact format, frequency, intensity, likely damage caused by failure. was tested 79 towns, villages, individual dwellings Umbria Region central Italy.
