摘要: Intensive snowfall events (ISEs) have a profound impact on the society and economy in China during winter. Considering that interaction between northerly cold advection southerly water vapor transport (WVT) is generally an essential condition for occurrence of ISEs eastern China, this study investigates different roles anomalous WVT North (NC) Yangtze River valley (YRV) regions based composite analysis seventy ISE cases NC forty YRV region from 1961 to 2014. The results indicate are mainly associated with significant pre-conditioning over induced by anomalies whereas strengthened Siberian High (SH) strong invading region. These suggest dominant role triggering largely attributed winter climate regions—during winter, dominated dry (relatively warm moist) air flow hence (northerly advection) key factor (the region).
