摘要: An experiment was conducted during 1991 and 1992 cropping seasons to determine appropriate schedule of N, P K for growth development fluted pumpkin (Telfailia occidentalis Hook. f.) in acid sandy soil. Vine number, length vines, girth fresh-matter yield were measured at 2-week intervals after fertilizer application. alone 22 kg/ha gave the highest (5.04 kg/plant), followed by kg P/ha +42 K/ha (4.98 kg/plant) SO kgNlha+22 (4.89 kg/plant). These yields were significantly different (P = 0.05) from treatments combinations without P. NPK applied 2 splits (4 8 weeks germination) 5.45 kg/plant compared with 4.16 produced single application or 4.76 given 3 NPK. Fresh-matter obtained band broadcast (6.4 6.3 respectively) ring point placement methods (4.7 4.4 respectively). Band therefore proved a superior method fertilizing pumpkin.
