Adiabatic scanning calorimetric results for the blue phases of cholesteryl nonanoate.

摘要: An adiabatic scanning calorimeter has been used to study the thermal behavior of liquid-crystal cholesteryl nonanoate in a temperature range covering all phase transitions involving three different blue phases occurring this substance. Results for dependence enthalpy and heat capacity are reported. It is found that thermodynamically stable observed first order.
