摘要: Abstract Objectives One of the causes dental caries that occurs due to orthodontic treatment is lack antibacterial properties in adhesive. This study was designated investigate effect resin modified by incorporating Nano Cinnamon powder on shear bond strength brackets. Materials and methods Heliosit Orthodontic Resin, a photo-activated light cure addition form particle powder. Twenty uniform disks were made, 5 as control for each concentration 1%, 3% 5% wt/wt resin. Their antimicrobial activity against Streptococcus Mutans tested using disk diffusion method. Then, most effective used metal brackets human extracted premolars. The universal testing machine record Also, adhesive remnant index measured. Results Disc method showed more than 1% with larger bacterial inhibition zone. Shear strengths 8.50 MPa 7.20 MPa no significant difference between them. recorded scores groups. Conclusion Findings this revealed incorporation particles produced an mutans without compromising strength. Clinical relevance Incorporation may reduce formation around during course.
