摘要: Environmentally friendly three chitosan Schiff bases (CSBs) were first time synthesized under microwave irradiation by the reaction of and aldehydes [benzaldehyde (CSB-1), 4-(dimethylamino)benzaldehyde (CSB-2), 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde (CSB-3)] characterized IR NMR spectroscopy. The corrosion inhibition performance inhibitors was studied electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) potentiodynamic polarization (PDP). results show that all act as effective for mild steel in 1 M HCl solution. Among bases, CSB-3 exhibited maximum efficiency 90.65% at a very low concentration 50 ppm. EIS showed CSBs inhibit adsorption mechanism. PDP are mixed-type inhibitors. formation inhibitor films on surface supported scanning electron microscopy/energy dis...
