摘要: Abstract This study describes the results of assessment 51 children with congenital hemiplegia, 28 right and 23 left hemiplegics, on Wechsler Intelligence Scales (WISC-R). These two groups were compared to a Control group thirty non-hemiplegic who chosen match subjects age at testing, full scale IQ, socioeconomic status sex distribution. Hemiplegic showed significantly greater differences between Verbal Performance IQ scores Controls, while Object Assembly subscale Controls. The left-right maturation gradient hemispheres as possible explanation for unexpected in hemiplegics is discussed, although lack hemiplegic may be more striking feature.
