摘要: Abstract A sensitive adsorptive stripping voltammetric protocol at a bismuth-coated glassy-carbon electrode for trace measurements of chromium (VI) in the presence diethylenetriammine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) is described. The new based on accumulation Cr-DTPA complex preplated bismuth film held −0.80 V, followed by negatively-going square-wave waveform. Factors influencing performance including preparation, solution pH, DTPA and nitrate concentrations, deposition potential time, have been optimized. resulting compares well with that observed analogous mercury electrodes. preconcentration time 7 min results detection limit 0.3 nM Cr(VI) after 2 min relative standard deviation 20 nM 5.1% ( n = 25). Applicability to river water samples demonstrated. attractive behavior “mercury-free” sensor holds great promise on-site environmental industrial monitoring (VI). Preliminary data this direction using screen-printed electrodes are encouraging.
